UPDATE: we have transport! Thank u all so much for sharing and wanting to help two sweet babies who just lost their mom.

Urgent transport needed! A dear friend and supporter of Homeward Bound for over 20 years passed away unexpectedly on Monday, leaving behind her precious pug Marty(adopted from us) and a sweet little 15 year old named Possum. I am trying to get the fur babies from Dallas to me in Norman Saturday if possible so my friend's daughter can handle other things. Would anyone be able to do this for her? I am still in New England but will be home Saturday. Sunday is an option, if no one can help Saturday. We are happy to pay for gas. Happy Saturday! We are so sorry that we disappeared yesterday. Mama Gail went to Auntie Melissa's to help with her party and took her computer! Hello everyone. My name is Lucy and I am six years old. I am here today to help Cooper and my other fellow pugs raise some $$ as a fundraising surprise for Mama Gail who has a very important birthday coming up on Monday. Wake up everybody!!! Today is a very special five-dollar Friday. My name is Cooper and I am the latest Homeward Bound rescue. I am a big boy at 37 pounds and am so excited that I was asked to participate in a surprise fundraiser to help celebrate Mama Gail's birthday on Monday and help the pugs of Homeward Bound at the same time. You see, Mama Gail is pretty busy right now getting ready for her son's wedding and also getting ready to go to New England to see some pretty leaves and visit friends. None of us knew what to get her for her birthday, so we thought we would surprise her by raising as much $$ as we can for the pugs in need. It's a secret so shhhhh. I sure hope folks will donate and post comments and photos. She loves to see photos of your furry friends and comments keep our posts seen by more folks. What do ya say? Let's do this! Howdy folks! It's me Frosty and I am here to let everyone know that there will be a very special SURPRISE five dollar Friday tomorrow. My mom (Mama Gail} is really stressed out and busy getting ready for her Human son's wedding a week from tomorrow and her birthday on Monday. She is older than dirt folks, been doing rescue for over 25 years and still saving every pug she can. We don't see her slowing down any time soon. So, my siblings and friends and I thought we would try to raise some funds for our fellow pugs in need as a surprise birthday present for her special day. But we can't do it without her wonderful friends and supporters helping us out. It's a surprise so mums the word. So, what do you say? Are you in?? Crack open the piggy bank, check those sofa cushions and help us celebrate my mom's birthday with a donation for the pugs. Remember comments matter as they keep our posts seen and my mom loves to read them when she has time. We won't surprise her until Monday with all the $$ we raised. Happy Saturday! I hope it is happy for the pugs of Homeward Bound. More donations came in and I don't know if I reached my goal, but I think I came close. Mama Gail will have a grand total later today. If you forgot to donate yesterday or just want to add to the total there is still time. Oh, my goodness, I was working so hard trying to raise money for the pugs of Homeward Bound that I fell asleep and no more donations came in while I was napping. I don't want to be known as a slacker, so I need your help to reach the goal I set for myself. I'm afraid I won't get many treats if I don't reach my goal. I'm on a diet and I was promised extra treats if I do really good. I'm practically starving so can you help a girl out? I'm hoping that once again our wonderful supporters will come through for us.
