Bethesda, Inc. Bethesda Educates, Heals, and Empowers Bethesda's mission is to heal the trauma of childhood sexual abuse through therapy, education, and prevention.

Bethesda has been providing expert care for all children in Oklahoma who have suffered the trauma of childhood sexual abuse and non-offending caregivers for over 40 years. Bethesda operates on THREE main pillars:
1. Leadership: Overarching organizational operation to ensure the health of the nonprofit.
2. Healing: Bethesda has been a place of healing for children and families, ensuring the highest

quality of individual and group counseling for children 3-18 years old and their caregivers. Bethesda's therapists use various therapeutic interventions to help children heal from the trauma of sexual abuse. Bethesda provides a summer camp experience that the kids will always remember. For one week, children participate in one of three camps designed to incorporate therapy into a summer camp's typical fun, crafts, music, and activities. According to Bethesda's therapists, a week in summer camp results in growth and healing equal to 4 months of regular therapy. Best yet, the camp participants have a blast!
3. Educational Outreach: Bethesda's Stop, Go, and Tell is a fun, age-appropriate, and interactive way to teach children about personal space boundary rules and what to do if someone tries to break those rules.
