For those who are interested in helping us out as we support the Pin-Ups For Vets as they visit Minneapolis on Friday August 21st to share joy and conversation with our hospitalized Veterans.
We use this week as a fundraiser with the Veterans Trailer, serving coffee and other things with a charge of "Whatever you think a Veteran is worth!"

Eveleth Elks Lodge 1161 held their annual bus ride to the MN Wild & one of their members (Charlie Cossette) was the Guardian of the Game for the national anthem.

The Holes for Heroes Military Family Ice Fishing event will take place on the lake Saturday, February 7th, at the East Medicine Lake Park in Plymouth, Mn.
Set up for the event will take place on Friday, the 6th, at the same location. We will be setting up 8 large military style tents to be used for the event.
I have created a volunteer signup form for those who would like to assist in the event.
We expect around 600 family members to partake in the event, so any help is appreciated.

The 15th Annual HOLES 4 HEROES Ice Fishing tournament honoring veterans is set to take place Saturday, 07 February 2026 at East Medicine Lake Park (1740 E Medicine Lake Blvd, Plymouth, MN 55441). We anticipate 600+ attendees for this event.
Volunteers are needed to assist setting up for the event on Friday, 06Feb from 09:00 until finished, and for tearing down after the event on 07Feb from 14:30 until Dark. (even in the dark we have to have the ice clear of all staging)
In the past, our Saturdays were lacking volunteers, making it difficult to clear the ice before the dark & cold set in.
If you can help set up on Friday, or on Saturday's tear down, or would like to help run the raffles, serve coffee, or assist as a fishing guide for families on the ice during the event, please email [email protected] and let me know when/how you can assist.
Hopkins Elks Lodge #2221 has offered warm food to serve our volunteers both Friday and Saturday evenings after spending the day on the ice!

The Fishing For Life Annual Holes 4 Heroes Ice Fishing Tournament held on Medicine Lake in Plymouth is an exciting event that combines the thrill of ice fishing with a noble cause.

24 years ago, our world was shaken. Our youth know nothing other than the US being involved in one conflict or another.
As we reflect on this day, let us take a moment to honor, respect and remember those who dedicate their lives to protect our freedoms and our safety.
