It’s time for East Jessamine Middle School to elect four parents as representatives for our School Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council.

Voting is via Google forms, by parents, step parents, or legal guardian of students who will be enrolled at EJMS during the 2026–2027 school year. Incoming sixth grade parents are eligible outgoing 8th Grade parents are not unless additional siblings will be attending EJMS.

Voting will close today at 6 PM

Thanks to all of the parents and families who have shared their feedback about EJMS through the annual district survey. We really appreciate the feedback and use it when making decisions at both the school and district levels. Haven’t had a chance yet? There’s still time before the survey closes end of day tomorrow. She has been such a great addition to our EJMS team this year! She has built strong relationships with students and teachers alike. From day 1, she asked for best practices for supporting your MLs, and I so appreciate the little updates she gives in the hallway! She always brightens the hallway and pushes her students to grow! She supports all students and acknowledges the gifts of her students through their difficulties. Thank you for being so thoughtful and intentional!
