Channel to Brazil for Christ We are dedicated to creating hope for children in poverty. We are here to inspire hope in these children so they might discover a future worth living.

Channel to Brazil for Christ strives to be a consistent support for the children in the slum community in Fortaleza, Brazil. We provide the children with supplementary education, hands-on learning experiences, safe space for play and enjoy nature, and one meal a day.

Legacy begins when what God does in our lives impacts others. Legacy grows when we plant goodness, which will still be at work when we are no longer present.

Proverbs 10: 7 "The memory of the righteous is blessed.”

The Bible talks about legacies of financial means and of those of wisdom, the values and good work we demonstrate and teach while we are here on earth. There are many ways to help the poor, but CBC chose education because it transforms from generation to generation. CBC's legacy is alive in hundreds of families in the slums of Fortaleza.

"Teacher, it's good to learn to care for each other.”

This was a recent comment from a student, as we continue to teach our theme this semester: Advancing Together. The children are realizing the mutual benefits of being a friend who cares, asks questions, and considers others as well as themselves.

Other results we have seen include a greater mixing of age groups in the playground, and the emergence of a peer led dance group. We have also created a new devotional time called Connection with God.

Praise God for the change that is happening in the lives of these children!

Meet our staff!!

From left to right Eliete takes care of CBC's finances and works in our office with Oseias (not pictured). Lisiane teaches 4th grade and has been with us for many years. Viviane is our newest staff member and cook. Finally, Neta teaches 6th grade. We are so grateful the the wonderful team of staff we have in Brazil! God has blessed us immensely with a crew that is eager to serve and love our students!

Kaleb continues to improve, he has a broken leg and several other injuries but he is singing, talking and recovering well. Praise God for this miracle.
