ICM ICM is The Global Church Developer. Connect with us on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok & YouTube (). We do, too. We don’t stop there.

We equip churches around the world with vital resources: infrastructure, discipleship tools, and training to grow and thrive. Do you want to reach the world for Christ? By equipping indigenous Christian congregations with two vital tools we can make this possible: a permanent church building and practical discipleship for oral learners in their heart language. Our strategy to grow God’s Church is

effective because we build upon existing relationships and resources in the field. The congregations we aid provide the land and labor for each project; our indigenous ministry partners provide oversight and accountability. The result is a sustainable, replicable model of Church growth. In over 30 years, we’ve completed over 11,000 projects in more than 100 countries. Those churches have planted an additional 44,000 congregations in some of the world's most difficult areas. The Church is not a building, but we’ve learned that a permanent church home empowers pastors and congregations in the developing world to reach their own communities for Christ. ICM churches are used every day for small group meetings, medical clinics, orphan care, education, addiction rehab, vocational training, seminaries, and much more. We also translate and distribute a practical Bible study to our partners, for free, in over 60 languages. Every week, 45,000 different small groups around the world use these resources to grow their faith. You can help us accomplish our vision for a church within walking distance of everyone in the world. Check out https://icm.org for more info on how you can be a part of what God is doing!

In rural X-Kan, Mexico, access changes everything. For years, families here walked long distances for basic medical care, safe spaces for their children, and a place to gather in times of crisis.

Then a Hope Center was built alongside the local church. And almost immediately, the impact multiplied in ways nobody planned.

When seasonal flooding threatened the community, the Hope Center became a refuge. Doors open. Lights on. People ready.

And the most lasting transformation is happening quietly, week after week. Families come for help and stay for fellowship. Parents begin attending worship. Discipleship groups form. Faith takes root.

Indigenous pastors and leaders rooted in X-Kan are shepherding every relationship. ICM didn't bring outsiders to lead this work. The building simply gave form to what God was already stirring.

For 40 years, people have recognized ICM for the churches we've helped build.

But buildings have never been the mission.

A church is where disciples are made. Where pastors are equipped. Where children learn God's Word. Where families find hope. Where communities gather and grow together.

That's why we've never measured success by buildings. We measure it by the lives transformed inside them.

As we celebrate 40 years, we're grateful for every church, every local leader, and every community that has become part of this story. And we believe the next chapter is only beginning.

The story isn't over. Join us for what comes BEYOND.

In many parts of the world Hope Centers are becoming key to community transformation.

In X-Kan, Mexico, a Hope Center opened alongside a local church. Medical teams began serving families who had gone without care for years. Children arrived for tutoring, discipleship, and safe activities. When seasonal flooding threatened the community, the center became a refuge. And week after week, families who came for help stayed for fellowship, for worship, for faith.

Nobody planned for all of this. It happened because a healthy local church, equipped with the right space, became a trusted center for everything its community needed.

ICM builds and equips churches and Hope Centers like this one across 111 countries. Because when the church opens its doors, God brings the harvest.

A church is more than a building. It's where people gather, families find community, disciples are equipped, and hope becomes visible.

While nearly 6 billion people have heard the gospel, millions still don't have a healthy church within walking distance.

Through Groundbreakers, a commitment of $50 a month for one year helps provide access to a healthy church for 12 people.

That's the impact of giving consistently. Together, we can help local leaders bring healthy churches to the communities that need them most.

Nobody planned for what happened in X-Kan, Mexico.

A Hope Center was built alongside a local church. Medical teams arrived. Other ministries followed. When floods hit, families found refuge there. And week after week, quietly, people who came for practical help discovered something they hadn't come looking for.

The harvest came because the doors were open. And the doors were open because someone gave to equip a local church to serve its community.

That is always how it starts. And it never ends the way anyone expected.

It's easy to read a number and move on.

But behind 27,378,167 Scripture-engaged disciples are millions of individual stories. People opening God's Word. Local pastors faithfully discipling their communities. Churches creating places where lives are transformed.

By 2025, that collective impact is so significant that if every person occupied just one square mile, the area would be larger than the Indian Ocean by more than 100,000 square miles.

That's the impact of strengthening local churches over the last 40 years.

Some stories are measured by how long they've lasted.
Others are measured by the lives they've changed.

For 40 years, God has worked through local churches to transform communities around the world. As we celebrate this milestone, we're not simply looking back. We're looking ahead with the same mission, the same faith, and the same commitment to strengthening local churches.

The story isn't over.

Somewhere in the world, a congregation has been meeting under a mango tree for years. Faithful without walls. Waiting for a permanent home.

Groundbreakers change that. $50 a month funds a church built by local leaders, owned by the community, and designed to serve generations. ICM supplies the materials. Local partners create the plans and find the labor. Every church is unique to its region and belongs entirely to its congregation.

14,000+ total churches. 111+ countries reached. The next one is waiting on someone like you.
