We equip churches around the world with vital resources: infrastructure, discipleship tools, and training to grow and thrive. Do you want to reach the world for Christ? By equipping indigenous Christian congregations with two vital tools we can make this possible: a permanent church building and practical discipleship for oral learners in their heart language. Our strategy to grow God’s Church is effective because we build upon existing relationships and resources in the field. The congregations we aid provide the land and labor for each project; our indigenous ministry partners provide oversight and accountability. The result is a sustainable, replicable model of Church growth. In over 30 years, we’ve completed over 11,000 projects in more than 100 countries. Those churches have planted an additional 44,000 congregations in some of the world's most difficult areas. The Church is not a building, but we’ve learned that a permanent church home empowers pastors and congregations in the developing world to reach their own communities for Christ. ICM churches are used every day for small group meetings, medical clinics, orphan care, education, addiction rehab, vocational training, seminaries, and much more. We also translate and distribute a practical Bible study to our partners, for free, in over 60 languages. Every week, 45,000 different small groups around the world use these resources to grow their faith. Some heroes will never have a platform.

Janice shares the story of a pastor from a refugee family who began partnering with us in 1995 to support the growing evangelical church in Vietnam.

Decades later, that partnership continues. Together with local leaders, we’ve seen more than 700 churches built across Vietnam.

His story reminds us that faithfulness doesn’t always happen in front of an audience. Sometimes it looks like serving quietly, showing up year after year, building relationships, and trusting God with the results.

What begins with one faithful person can become part of something much bigger than they could have imagined.

We’re grateful to work alongside local leaders and churches around the world, and for everyone who makes that work possible.

In South America, this local church went from gathering under a makeshift shelter to having a permanent church home.

The transformation in these photos is easy to see, but what matters most is what happens beyond the building.

A permanent space gives this local church a place to gather, worship, disciple others, and serve its community. What once meant meeting under a temporary roof can now become a home where the church continues to grow and reach more people with the Gospel.

Because a building is never the whole story. It is what happens through the local church that matters.

What began with prayer became a permanent place where believers can gather, grow, worship, and share the hope of Christ with their community.

The fire is already burning.

Janice Allen shares what continues to humble her when she sees the devotion, passion, and sacrifice of ICM’s partners around the world.

One partner in Central America described ICM’s role this way: “When ICM comes alongside us, it’s like throwing oil on the fire.”

The vision isn’t to replace what God is already doing through local leaders. It’s to come alongside them, equip them, and help accelerate the work they are already passionate about.

Our partners in Poland recently shared an encouraging update from Lake EPIC Christian Training Center following the 6th Annual Leadership Summit.

Nearly 150 current and future leaders gathered to grow in leadership, strengthen their ministry skills, share their faith, and learn how to navigate the challenges of serving others.

The Summit also brought together leaders from different denominations. Around meals, conversations, a bonfire, and time together, relationships grew and trust was strengthened. And as trust grows, so does the opportunity to work together for the sake of the Gospel.

One of last year's prayers was for new churches. This year, 15 groups have joined a two-year training program to help launch new churches through a new church-planting initiative called TOGETHER.

Another prayer was for Lake EPIC itself to become a functioning place for ministry. Today, the center has a working kitchen, a growing capacity to host leaders and teams, and a clear purpose. Since last year, 48 groups and events have already used Lake EPIC to build teams, equip leaders, serve others, and share the Gospel.

What once looked like a distant dream is becoming a place of active ministry.

Please pray for the leaders being equipped, the churches yet to be planted, and the continued work of strengthening the Church in Poland.

What does it take to build more than 14,000 churches around the world?

Not a single project, but a model that repeats. Three pillars that reinforce each other: building permanent churches in local communities, equipping pastors to lead with health and longevity, and developing discipleship resources that multiply believers across cultures and generations.

That model has worked for 40 years. And now ICM is pursuing something that would free it to go even further. Paying off our mortgage completely means that every dollar given from this point forward goes directly to the mission, not to overhead.
