Hey Sailors, help us find the owner of this class ring! A lovely person reached out to recently to try to find the owner of this NHHS ring her mother found. It is engraved 'Mike E Rodgers" and "Class of 1980."

If this is you, or a friend or family member, email us today so we can help reunite you: [email protected] Go Sailors!

Closed for the summer! Over the break, the NHHS campus is getting new carpets and paint inside all the buildings. This means that Heritage Hall will be closed during these improvements.

We won't be able to give tours during this time, and will not have access to our full archive. We'll do our best to assist you, but some requests may need to wait until the end of the summer. Your patience is much appreciated, and if you're interested in helping us refresh our displays in the Fall, send us an email and we'll be in touch: [email protected]

Saturday was a wonderful reminder of why we love being Sailors! We had so much fun, listening to Steve & Beth Woods' music, eating tacos, and catching up with old friends. Then Greg MacGillivray's two films were beautiful, surprising, and filled with interesting facts.

Thank you to the MacGillivrays for being there, and to Greg for offering such thoughtful answers during our Q&A. We're also grateful to our special guests -- Dr. Alissa Deming from the Pacific Marine Mammal Center & NHHS teacher Julie Karjala -- for joining us, educating us, and inspiring us.

We appreciate our Sponsors -- Jill (Broughten) Hygelund Class of 1967, the Elliott & Gaddis Families -- for helping us raise funds for two scholarships for graduating seniors. If you'd like to add to this goal $5, $50, or $500, we'd appreciate it: www.newportharboralumni.org/donate

Looking forward to our next gathering, and as always, go Sailors!

We are sincerely grateful to our Sailor family who contributed to our efforts last year. So thank you to everyone who used their Reunion to give back, made a donation on Giving Tuesday, added a little to their ticket purchase, or gifted us substantial support.

Because of you, we will be able to offer 12 Scholarships to the Class of 2026, as well as maintain our Heritage Hall Museum, contribute to our two Endowments, and plan more fun events for the coming year. We deeply appreciate you sharing your resources with us, and we look forward to doing great things together in the future, go Sailors: www.newportharboralumni.org/donate
