🌎 Impact Is Making Disciples Around the World!

We recently received this encouraging note from Pastor Robert Ciprian, Pastor of Pillar of Truth Baptist Church in San José de Ocoa, Dominican Republic.

Robert has completed Impact One through Impact Four and is now helping lead others through the Impact material in his church.

Here’s what he shared:

“Impact training has helped me in many different ways. First of all it has helped me stay focused on a disciple-making plan longer than any other material. I understand that my willingness and availability to serve God did not start when I accepted the call to be a Pastor, but when I started being a disciple.

I have already started to share the Impact 1 material with the help of Frank Nuckolls. I will continue this training with church members and a small group that I lead every Tuesday.”

What an incredible reminder that disciple-making starts with being a disciple.

From the Dominican Republic to churches around the world, our prayer is that Impact will continue to help pastors, leaders, and believers Be and Build Disciples of Jesus Christ.

When life falls apart, our instinct is often to **do something—anything—to fix it.**

We try to control the outcome, force a solution, or figure out what God must be doing.

But Ruth reminds us of something we desperately need to remember:

**God is working—even when we can't see what He's doing.**

Naomi couldn't see the redemption that was coming. Ruth couldn't see where her obedience would lead. But as they remained faithful to God, He was quietly working behind the scenes.

Sometimes God doesn't begin by changing our circumstances.
**Sometimes He begins by changing us.**

That's discipleship.

Before God works *through* us, He often wants to work *in* us.

So don't rush ahead of God. Don't force what He hasn't opened. Don't let fear convince you that everything depends on you.

**Trust Him. Follow Him. Let Him work in you first.**

That's what it means to **Be and Build Disciples.**

Sometimes we feel like God is far away, but the truth is He hasn’t moved.

Just like any relationship, our experience with God can change when we stop spending time with Him. If you’ve been feeling distant from God, maybe it’s time to get back in His Word, back in prayer, and back in worship.

Your position in Christ doesn’t change, even when your feelings do. He is still right there.

The question is: Have you moved away from Him?

Take a step back toward Him today. ❤️

What a meaningful weekend in Kingston, Jamaica! Pastor Ken Adams and Frank Nuckolls had the opportunity to spend time with pastors and leaders at a Disciple-Making Church Seminar, encouraging and equipping them to make disciples who make disciples.

A special thank you to Pastor Conrad Reid and Portmore Gospel Assembly for being such incredible hosts and for doing an amazing job organizing the weekend. We are grateful for your heart for the church and your commitment to making disciples.

Pastor Ken also had the privilege of preaching twice on Sunday, including at Portmore Gospel Assembly.
