Last year, the Newnan Junior Service League awarded $12,000 to Hope Global to help fund the creation of a new art room — giving the organization another space to create opportunities and make a difference in the lives of those they serve.

Now, we want to see what’s possible for your organization.

A new year of service begins. 💙

We’re back together and ready for another year of serving Coweta County.

Our first General Meeting of the year was a chance to reconnect, look ahead, and get excited for all that’s to come. From continuing traditions that have shaped the Newnan Junior Service League for generations to creating new opportunities to serve our community, there’s a lot ahead.

Here’s to another year of purpose, fellowship, and service — and to the women who make it all possible.

For 100 years, NJSL has invested in the people and organizations shaping Coweta County. And now - we're looking for our next partner.

The NJSL Community Grant supports local nonprofits doing meaningful work. Past grants have funded a therapy horse, a dental x-ray machine, and a new art room. Real investment in real impact.

✨ A moment 100 years in the making.

Today, Mayor Shepherd officially proclaimed May 1, 2026 as Newnan Junior Service League Day in honor of our Centennial Year.

For a century, NJSL has been woven into the fabric of this community. From scholarships to service projects, from Can-A-Thon to Christmas in Newnan, our work is rooted in the belief that women who lead with purpose and serve with heart build something that lasts.

One hundred years ago, a group of women in Newnan decided to show up for their community. They never stopped — and neither will we. 💛
