Whether you are a hiker, birder, mountain biker, nature lover, fisherman, or history buff, WCCS Park has something for you! Some things we do: Help with the construction and maintenance of over 40 miles of trail; Staff the Nature Center on Weekends; Provide Scholarships to Environmental Programs for Disadvantaged Children; Advocate for the Preservation of Natural Lands, Construct & monitor nest b

oxes for bluebirds, tree swallows, and kestrels; Install and maintain a Native Plant Garden at the Park Office; Help upgrade Nature Center Exhibits; Install and maintain live nest cameras at the Nature Center; and Provide financial and volunteer support for the Park.

Learn about plans for projects at White Clay Creek State Park.
Join staff from the Division of Parks and Recreation for a community open house focused on future projects at the park. The open house is an opportunity for division staff to share information about the park and allow the public to provide feedback. The open house will feature a series of informational boards highlighting existing park features, upcoming capital projects and future planned efforts to improve the amenities and services provided to park visitors.
Projects include Big Pond restoration, White Clay Creek Nature Center, trail projects, office location and overnight rentals.

First concert tonight. Thank you to the Newark Community Band and all those who trusted our decision to hold the concert. We try our best to make good decisions with the information provided by several weather prediction sources.
Each week besides our featured band there will be a food truck, Baily's Dawgs Hot dog stand, a local brewery beer garden, and Rita's water ice.
Plus our Friends Fundraiser 50/50.
Concert are FREE with paid parking fee or Annual Pass.
$5/instate plates $10/out of state
