Happy June! Our skater spotlight is Isabella Radtke! Let’s get to know our June skater!

Level: I am in freestyle 4-6 and I just passed the preliminary skating skills test!

What brought you to the ice: I wanted to feel how it feels to have the freedom to skate fast, do tricks, and have the cold wind rush by your face.

Who inspires you: Alysa Liu, because of her perseverance to reach her goal no matter how hard it is and how long it takes.

Favorite program: One of my favorite programs is the OLYMPICS in general.

Goals for this season: My goals for this season are to try to do an axel on land, because right now I am doing it on the harness. I also want to improve my jumps and spins!
What do you like to do off the ice: I like to play music with my violin and clarinet, and of course hangout with ice skating friends.

Fun fact: I have competed in three competitions this season. Two of them were for synchro, and one for my actual program. I also speak 3 languages (English, Spanish, and German), and I will start learning French very soon.

Our 2026 End of Season Party was a rousing success! Thank you so much to Lulu, Fallyn, and the Jr. Committee for planning a spectacular party! A big thank you as well to all the parents and members of the community helping to make this such a wonderful event for everyone!💙💛

2026 Picken Dance Classic for our solo dancers! They had a wonderful time competing & we’re so proUD of all their hard work! Great job everyone!💙💛

Presenting our May Skater Spotlight, Alison Rogerson!💙💛

Level: Adult; I’m working on my pre-gold moves, I have tested silver dance, juvenile freestyle, even a few figures!

What brought you to the ice: I started skating at 13 when I couldn’t continue with gymnastics. Now it’s a lifelong passion!

Who inspires you: I love watching dance teams with great power and edges and quality.

Favorite program: This is so hard! Way back we skated to Rent. We trained so hard and it was a tough program but we came in 3rd at Nationals and I was proud of what we accomplished!

Goals for this season: I want to pass my skating skills test soon.

What do you like to do off the ice: I love the outdoors, hiking, boating, bird watching.

Fun fact: I’ve lived in New Zealand and Hawaii.

51st Annual Ladybug Competition🐞
