Freedom in Christ is not something we earn, it’s something we receive.

We don’t turn away from sin to make God love us more. We do it because Jesus has already given us a new life and called us to walk in the freedom He purchased for us.

Grace doesn’t lead us back into bo***ge. It teaches us how to live free.

Sin may look different in each person’s life, but its effect is the same: it entangles and keeps us from running freely.

Spiritual growth begins with honesty, recognizing the specific areas where we are most vulnerable and bringing them into the light before God. We can’t deal seriously with what we refuse to identify.

Spiritual maturity asks a better question than, “Is this wrong?”

Sometimes the real question is: Is this helping me follow Jesus faithfully? Not everything we need to release is sinful. Some things simply take too much of our attention, energy, or affection and begin to slow us down.

Wisdom is learning what to carry, and what to leave behind.

Not everything weighing you down is sinful, but it may still be slowing your spiritual growth.

Part of running the race faithfully is learning to recognize what belongs in this season and what needs to be released. Sometimes moving forward requires letting go of even good things so we can give our best to what God has placed before us.
