Brick Networks was proud to join our neighbors at the South Ward Juneteenth Festival in Newark for a day filled with connection, joy, and celebration. From families and students to local leaders and community partners, it was inspiring to see so many people come together to honor the past while investing in the future.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday celebrated on June 19 that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. It marks the day in 1865 when enslaved African Americans in Texas learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. Juneteenth honors freedom, resilience, and the continued pursuit of equality and justice.

Today we honor the journey, celebrate the progress, and commit to the ongoing fight for equity. Happy Juneteenth!

BRICK is inviting you and your family to join us for a special Basic First Aid & CPR Training designed for families with children ages 4 and up.

This interactive, family-friendly event will help families learn important summer safety skills while connecting with the community.
