Urban Exposure

Urban Exposure Provide an effective pathway for urban youth to earn their place at nation’s best colleges through highly competitive play in non-traditional sports.

Urban Exposure develops new youth athletic programs and networks existing school-based and community youth programs to provide youth participants with:
• Exposure to underrepresented youth sport competition
• High level competitive coaching in non-traditional sports
• Mentoring, character development, and leadership training
• Linkage to collegiate play and college recruitment
• Access to nation

al sports organizations and affiliates
Urban Exposure also supports youth athletes and athletic programs with program development, coaching recruitment, resource development and funding cultivation to eliminate financial barriers to play. Urban Exposure aims to achieve the following goals in Lacrosse, Rugby, Field Hockey and Rowing:

• Provide the best high-level technical coaching in a nurturing, competitive environment that will prepare youth for elite play
• Integrate technical acumen with values of leadership, hard work, determination, team work, discipline, sacrifice and personal goal-setting
• Develop and expand competitive club play of non-traditional sports in underserved urban areas
• Expand the pool from which top high schools, colleges and universities can recruit outstanding youth athletes from inner cities

Urban Exposure is excited to join Kean University and partner with the KUBS program to host a Lacrosse Clinic this Saturday April 1, from 10am- 12pm.

First Timers, Seasoned Players, Girls and Boys-- this Clinic is boys and girls in the 4th-8th Grades.
