A heartfelt thank you to and for donating the beautiful white daisies we gave to volunteers after our 25th Anniversary Tribute to Labor of 9/11 on September 15th. Volunteers carried the flowers to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and placed them on the names of the Building Trades members who were lost on 9/11. One flower. One name. One lasting promise to Never Forget.

The 25th Anniversary Tribute to Labor of 9/11 at North Oculus Plaza was a tremendous success. Thank you again for joining us and helping make this important day so meaningful. Please watch the video highlighting the day. We honored the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) NYPD The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and the NYS Building & Construction Trades Council members who risked their lives, health, and long-term well-being during our city’s recovery after 9/11. We reflected on their sacrifices and the lessons they continue to teach us about worker safety, service, solidarity, and organized labor's vital role in disaster response. The event concluded with a memorial tribute, wreath-laying, and a moment of silence at the 9/11 Memorial Reflecting Pools. A special thank you to our sponsors whose support helped make this tribute possible: Platinum Sponsor: / Always Remember Sponsors: SMART Local 28 Sheet Metal Workers Union of NYC and Long Island Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA) and Church of St. Francis of Assisi / Never Forget Sponsors: International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Thank you for standing with HEART 9/11 as we honor those who served, those we lost, and the legacy of labor and service that continues today. "Never Forget".
