A new report from the Climate Jobs Institute at Cornell University shows how New York can address the climate and affordability crises by taking an entirely new approach to updating homes. By doing the work at neighborhood-scale, the state can go big on emissions reductions, save homeowners and ratepayers money, and unlock a generation of good union jobs.

“We all want to have a path forward that creates good jobs, brings down carbon emissions and is good for the environment, and brings down rates,” said Brendan Griffith, president of the New York City Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO.
