Applications are open for ExploreAg’s C**T Lineman day camp and The Ohio State University’s Agricultural Technical Institute’s week-long camp! ExploreAg is a free, useful resource to connect teens with career opportunities in agriculture.

May 29: C**T Camp - Learn what it takes to work with electricity. Registration closes May 19.

May 31 - June 5: OSU ATI - Visit a greenhouse, equine centers, arboretum’s and more. Registration closes May 21.

The David E. Mizer Memorial Scholarship recognizes students for work ethic, academic effort, civic engagement, and career interests that will contribute to the future of Ohio agriculture. The David E. Mizer Memorial Scholarship provides one renewable $3,000 scholarship to a deserving student from Belmont County, Harrison County, Jefferson County or Tuscarawas County seeking a degree in dairy science, food science, agriculture, or a related field. Each scholarship is renewable for up to three years for a total of $12,000 per student. To apply for this scholarship or one of the many others available, visit ofbf.org/scholarships. The Dr. David A. Benfield Scholarship Fund was established in 2019 by colleagues and friends of Benfield to honor his 17-year career as associate director of OARDC and associate vice president and director of the Wooster Campus in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences and his passion for agricultural education and research. The scholarship is specifically for students in livestock and crop sciences at ATI. To apply for this scholarship or one of the many others available, visit ofbf.org/scholarships.
