The Tuscarawas County Art Guild enjoyed a covered dish supper and plein aire painting at a church just past the Tappan Lake Marina.
There were just 7 of us but we are definitely coming back again!!
Sorry I didn’t take more pics of the group. I was so distracted by painting I forgot!! I did get a good pic of the sunset. And the pic of my feet is for me to remember how I wait every winter to put my feet in the grass!!

The Tuscarawas County Art Guild is at the Home and Garden Show today and tomarrow at the Tuscarawas County Fair Grounds. They have quite the variety of stuff this year. Come see us, we will be here 10-5. 😊

Dragonfly stained glass watercolor at Alley Cats went fantastic!! We had 8 in the class today. Everyone enjoyed the class so much and each one had so many different styles and colors with their artwork.
Thanks to Debbie Knisely for another great opportunity!! I love sharing the joy of watercolor!

The Tuscarawas County Art Guild is proud to announce their 2026 Scholarship Winner Ashlynn Bolon! Currently she is a senior at Indian Valley and will be pursuing a career in Graphic Design at Ohio University. The High School Art Show and Awards presentation will be at the Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts next Wednesday April 29 from 6-8. Please attend and encourage these young artists!!

A few weeks ago we featured Kara Wallick from Flutter and Bloom at our Tusc Co Art Guild Meeting. She was our artist spotlight and she shared her journey with art before she did her presentation. She specializes in making shadow boxes with butterflies, insects and / or dried flowers. Beautiful work! It was a joy to have her!!

Last Wednesdays Art Guild Meeting was fantastic! We got to hear Karen Gazdik’s art journey and then we enjoyed learning the art of Japanese Sumi Painting. Very fun!
Next meeting Kara Wallick is sharing the art of shadow boxing insects.

Tuscarawas County Art Guild made a fun girl’s day of it dropping off our artwork at Algonquin Mill for a the show next week. Had a nice lunch at the Chop House in Carrollton.
The Algonquin Mill Festival is next Friday Saturday Sunday. Check website for times. Be prepared. It is a BIG festival. ☺️
