Right now, the Tuscarawas County Humane Society has 30 KITTENS available for adoption — and the calls asking us to take in more continue to come every single day. 🐱💕 Here is a small snapshot of some of the available for adoption kittens we do have!

🏡 Our goal: 30 kittens → 30 forever homes!

Every adoption opens up valuable space and resources so we can help the next kitten in need. Whether you’ve been thinking about adding a tiny troublemaker to your family or know someone who has… NOW is the time! 😻

🐾 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🐾

Have you been through TCHS Volunteer Orientation within the last 6 months and have been wondering when a good time to jump in would be?

THE TIME IS NOW! 🙌🐶🐱

TCHS currently has a FULL shelter, and we could really use some extra helping hands during our morning cleaning shift!

🧹 Cleaning Shift: 9 AM – 1 PM
🐾 Every day aside from Thursdays.

Our staff works hard every day to keep our animals happy, healthy, comfortable, and in tip-top husbandry while they wait for their forever homes. With so many animals currently in our care, an extra set of hands can make a HUGE difference! ❤️

Whether you’re helping clean kennels, refresh bedding, wash dishes, tackle laundry, or lend a hand wherever needed—you are helping us provide the best possible care for our animals.

After spending her life as a breeding dog, Celine is officially RETIRED! No more making money for someone else—this girl is ready to trade motherhood for soft beds, endless snacks, and a life of luxury. 🐾

Celine is a 6-year-old French Bulldog with that classic Frenchie personality hiding underneath her cautious exterior. She’s silly, goofy, and full of character—but she needs someone willing to give her the time and space to feel safe before she lets her true personality shine. ❤️

Celine has spent enough of her life working for someone else. Now, she deserves a family who will make the rest of her life all about HER. 🏡👑

Just look at this little guy! 😍 Tracker is a 19-week-old male Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix with a happy-go-lucky personality and plenty of puppy love to give. 💙

Tracker is searching for a forever family ready for all the fun that comes with raising a puppy—playtime, training, adventures, snuggles, and watching him grow into the best boy he can be. 🐶✨

✂️ A little note about his coat: Tracker is a mix that will require regular professional grooming and at-home coat maintenance throughout his life. His future family should be prepared to make grooming part of his routine to keep him comfortable, healthy, and looking handsome!

Damon has been in and out of the shelter since 2021, and after years of uncertainty, he deserves something he hasn’t always had: stability. A home where he can finally unpack his bags, settle in, and know that this time… he’s staying.

Damon is a sensitive gentleman with one little weakness: thunderstorms. ⛈️ But hey, every superhero has their kryptonite. 🦸‍♂️ During a storm, Damon just needs someone to remind him that he’s safe and loved.
