Wpqha Western WPQHA is a large, highly successful regional organization that promotes the values of owning and exhibiting Quarter Horses.

The Western Pennsylvania Quarter Horse Association is a large, highly successful regional organization that promotes the values of owning and exhibiting Quarter Horses. This is accomplished through sponsoring AQHA approved Quarter Horse shows, Open Shows, Clinics, Youth Team affiliations, Futurities, and other equine repeated events in the area. WPQHA produces 26 AQHA approved horse shows over sev

en weekends, May through August each year. WPQHA also either sponsors or provides facilities for other Breed shows, Open shows, and special equine events such as dressage, special Olympics, National Snaffle Bit Association, and National Reining Horse Association. These events attract nearly 10,000 entries annually. WPQHA in recent years, has committed nearly a quarter of a million dollars in improvements to a showground that is becoming a premier equine facility. This facility is not Government owned or subsidized. WPQHA is one of the few association owned show grounds in the country.

‼️ATTENTION MAKING MEMORIES HORSE SHOW EXHIBITORS‼️

With all of the rain we have gotten this week and expect to get tomorrow and Saturday. We are asking that all trailers and campers please park accordingly!! It is extremely wet at the moment in the large center camping area so please DO NOT try to drive across it!

Vince J Utlak will be there to assist as needed Friday evening

In Memory of Leslie Best Nonya

High Point Halter Memorial

Leslie was a wonderful young lady. She was 43 years young when Pancreatic Cancer took her from us. She loved horses more than anything. She started in 4H and worked her way up to World level showing. Leslie showed all over the East coast. But one of her very favorite places to show was the Burg. She had inspiring people that she meet here that kept her motivated. She had very close ties with Bill Coffman and the Fuchs Family. They always supported her in the horses and personal life. Leslie had become a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician. We know that her big smile is shining down on us today. Leslie will be missed.
