We STILL have pallets of fresh English cucumbers available thanks to an amazing donation from The Farmlink Project — and as you can see, there are still TONS left!

Please don’t let this fresh produce go to waste. Come get as many as you can use for your family, neighbors, church, food pantry, animals, preserving, sharing — whatever helps!

We currently have 20 PALLETS (approximately 117 boxes per pallet) of fresh cucumbers available to share with the public! We are unloading them now, but once we’re finished, come on down and take what you want — seriously, help yourself and spread the word!

We’re excited to welcome you to From Surplus to Supper 2026 this Saturday (4/18)! Join us for a meaningful evening at Hocking College celebrating the 740 Rescue Kitchen and the communities we serve across Southeast Ohio.

✨ Great news: Thanks to the Hocking College Foundation, this event is now completely FREE to attend!
Enjoy food, drinks, and entertainment while connecting with our mission and seeing the impact we’re building together.

As we approach our first full year of production on May 1st, we’ll also be sharing how far we’ve come—and what’s ahead.

Assist with delivering meals to our community. Flexible schedules available, and you’ll be making a direct impact on local families.

Help us prep, cook, and package meals for those in need. No experience necessary—just a willingness to lend a hand and be part of something meaningful.

Every meal we serve is made possible by people like you. Whether you can give a few hours a week or just help when you’re able, it truly makes a difference.

At 740 Rescue Kitchen, our mission is simple: we rescue surplus food and transform it into freshly prepared, nutritious meals for individuals and families facing food insecurity across Southeast Ohio.

Each week, our team works to collect quality surplus food from partners and turn it into balanced meals that are distributed throughout the nine counties we serve.

🚨 Please note: We are not able to distribute meals directly from our kitchen.

Meals are available through our community partners at the following pick-up locations:

• OU Cats Cupboard
• Nelsonville Community Center
• Torch Food Pantry
• First Presbyterian Church
• Project SAFE
• Shepherd of the Valley
• Local school partners

📞 We encourage you to call these locations directly ahead of time to verify meal availability.

We are always looking for:
