Friendly reminder, tomorrow is the old timers game. Wear your jersey and arrive by 2:30. We will be gathering with coaches in the outfield immediately following the game to receive our awards. See you there!

The 2023 Old Timers game is coming up soon, which means it’s time for baseball/softball awards. The game is set for Sunday, August 13th at Crabtree Field. There are many activities going on that day so be sure to be there!

Players should wear their jerseys and arrive BY 3pm. We suggest coming for the Old Timers game too as they have kids games in between innings!

Here is the schedule for August 13:

1:00 p.m. —— Opening ceremony and flag raising with The VFW Color Guard and the Nelsonville-York High School Band

1:15 p.m. —— Old Timers Baseball Game begins!
Please meet in the third base dugout at 12:30 if you want to participate in this relaxing game.

3:00 p.m. —— Introduction of all the Old Timers and presentation of Honor Plaques

3:15 p.m. —— Nelsonville-York Youth League: Baseball and Softball Awards
*players should gather in the outfield with their coach immediately after the 3pm awards.

It’s pool party time! Don’t forget this Friday from 630pm-830pm be at the Nelsonville City Pool. Afterwards we will have a baseball movie, drinks, and pizza on field 3 at the park!

New date for the end of year party is Friday July 28th. The Nelsonville city pool is ours from 630-830. Afterwards a baseball movie will be played at the ball fields with food and drinks. Spread the word!
