⛳ Rocky Community Improvement Fund (RCIF) Golf Tournament

Since 2009, the annual RCIF Golf Tournament has been more than just a day on the green—it’s a tradition of giving back. Thanks to generous donors and community partners, the RCIF endowment continues to grow, fueling lasting improvements across Athens County and the five neighboring counties, including Hocking County.

Together, we’ve proudly awarded over $900,000 to local nonprofits and more than $15,000 in scholarships to hardworking high school students. Every swing, putt, and drive makes a real difference right here at home.

🌍 Happy Earth Day!
To celebrate, RCIF hosted a Nelsonville Beautification Day – Employee Challenge! Our amazing team rolled up their sleeves and made a real impact — cleaning up and mulching the Nelson Commons Park, picking up trash throughout the area, and planting beautiful flowers along Rocky Boots Way.

A big thank you to all the employees who took part in helping our community shine a little brighter today! 💚🌸

The Athens County Foundation (ACF) is currently accepting applications for three key funding opportunities this fall:
