Sunday Recap 🤍

What a joyful Sunday at Hillcrest! We worshiped together and were reminded that God’s way is not the world’s way, and He gets all the glory.

We also had a great time at our Men’s Ministry gathering and watched our kids cool off with a Water Fun Day before heading back to school! 💦☀️

What a blessing to worship, fellowship, grow, and serve together as a church family. God has been so good to us!

Last night was a special night at Hillcrest! We were encouraged to see so many people gather that we had to move into the sanctuary. What a blessing to see our church family growing and gathering together!

Our elders shared the vision and purpose of Hillcrest Baptist Church: to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. As we pursue that purpose, we are committed to three objectives:

📖 EQUIP — Because God’s Word is our sole authority for faith and practice, we equip the people of HBC to know God through Scripture-driven teaching that connects the truths of God’s Word to everyday life.

🤝 ENCOURAGE — Because the local church is established by God, we guard our unity by encouraging the people of HBC to cultivate authentic community through sharing meals, opening our homes in hospitality, and building relationships where believers support one another through the realities of life.

🌎 EMPOWER — Because Christ has commanded us to be the salt and light, we empower the people of HBC to be catalysts of change in their families, workplaces, and neighborhoods. We challenge every person to intentionally pray for, serve, and build genuine relationships with those who do not know Christ, sharing the Gospel through direct conversations and Christian living.

We are thankful for what God is doing at Hillcrest and excited to pursue this vision together, for His glory and the good of His church.
