Night one at Camp Bovay is officially in the books, and our Scouts are already making memories that will last a lifetime!

From setting up camp like pros to exploring the great outdoors, laughter around camp, and a night full of excitement — these kids jumped right into the adventure. You can feel the energy, teamwork, and pure joy from the moment we arrived.

There’s just something special about that first night… new experiences, a little independence, and a whole lot of fun with friends.

We can’t wait to see what the rest of camp has in store for these awesome Scouts!

🚑💙 A big THANK YOU to CHI St. Joseph Health EMS for visiting Pack 327!

Our Scouts had an amazing time getting an up-close look at the ambulance and learning what EMTs do every day to help keep our community safe. From seeing the equipment to asking great questions, this was an experience they won’t forget!

We’re so grateful for your time, your service, and for inspiring our Scouts to learn more about helping others.

Jennifer Wellman has received the 2026 District Award of Merit from the Arrowmoon District of Scouting America — the highest honor given at the district level.

Wellman has spent years serving local Scouts as District Day Camp Program Director, leading the Scouting for Food campaign that helps families in need, and mentoring leaders as Committee Chair for Cub Scout Pack 327.

Her leadership and volunteer work have helped shape opportunities for young people and families across the Brazos Valley.

Pack 327 marked an important moment in our pack’s journey.

With gratitude for three years of leadership, David Hering passed the Cubmaster role to Robert Pegg, who will now serve as Cubmaster for Pack 327.

David’s dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to our Scouts have made a lasting impact on our pack, and we are thankful for all he has done.

We are excited for the future as Robert takes the helm and continues the tradition of adventure, learning, and fun for our Scouts.

Congratulations to Ethan and Dutch!

This past weekend, Pack 327 celebrated a major milestone as Ethan and Dutch earned their Arrow of Light and officially bridged into Troop 159.

The Arrow of Light is the highest rank a Cub Scout can achieve, representing years of hard work, leadership, and growth. We are incredibly proud of both of these Scouts and all they have accomplished during their Cub Scout journey.

Crossing the bridge marks the beginning of their next adventure in Scouting, where new challenges, skills, and leadership opportunities await.

Please join us in congratulating Ethan and Dutch on this achievement. We can’t wait to see all they accomplish in the years ahead!

🎯 Range Masters Needed! 🎯

Our district is looking for adults willing to help make Cub Scout Day Camp an unforgettable experience by serving as Certified Range Masters for BB Guns, Archery, and Slingshots.

No prior shooting experience is required — the training is designed for any adult volunteer who wants to help provide a safe and fun outdoor program for our Scouts.

Training includes:
• 3 hours of classroom instruction
• 2 hours of hands-on range time
• Safety procedures, equipment handling, and range setup

📅 Upcoming Training Dates:
• March 28
• April 11
• May 16

📍 Location:
Bovay Scout Ranch
Navasota, TX

🏕️ Why it matters:
Our district needs certified range masters to help staff Cub Scout Day Camp. Volunteers can serve one day or multiple days — every bit of help makes a difference!
