If we lose sight of these values, Tennessee and America will cease to be great. Together we will influence public policy and enact legislation that strengthens families, fights child and human trafficking, promotes time-honored values, protects the dignity of life and marriage, lowers the tax burden on small business and families, and requires government to tighten its belt and live within its means. The facts and the numbers don't lie. The Conservative Republicans in the General Assembly have proven time and time again that they are committed to ensuring Tennessee's children receive a quality education.

THE REAL STORY.
For a decade and a half, Republicans have been busting-up the educational caliphates that controlled and saddled student excellence. Since 2010, Tennessee has focused on the needs of students and that focus has been led by public educators who listen and cooperate with parents.
But even now, after these gains, with literacy and math performance at an all-time high, with teacher compensation up 35% in 5 years, with record investments to public education exceeding $3 Billion in 5 years, with teacher merit pay, and hold harmless provisions protecting rural schools… the caliphates fight to regain control.
They push misinformation to teachers, parents, and indoctrinate school boards. That misinformation is intentional and is to incite fear.
Do not be afraid! Tennessee is committed to creating quality educational experiences for students and teachers. The proof is in the numbers. Not just the record investments but also in the outcomes.
