Countdown to Excellence: Award Winner Spotlight 🌟

Congratulations to JoAnn from !

One of JoAnn's standout qualities is her ability to integrate both language and culture in a way that creates rich, meaningful learning experiences for her students. Whether she is mobilizing her students by leading them through hands-on activities like making crêpes, mousse, and quiche, or holding a one week French Immersion summer camp, JoAnn is adept at celebrating the joys of French culture outside of school hours. Her innovative approach connects students to French-speaking communities and cultures around the world, allowing them to experience language learning in a way that feels both contemporary and engaging.

The New Hampshire Association of World Language Teachers (NHAWLT) will serve and will represent all New Hampshire world language teachers.

The Nashua Lions are proud to announce the winners of this year’s scholarships. The club awarded $20k for 5 - $4,000 scholarships. The winners are three Nashua North and two Nashua South seniors.

The club received over 35 scholarship applications this year! We were very impressed with the service these students have brought to the community, proving there is hope for positive change in our world. Congratulations!

In Nashua, NH, Nashua Teachers' Union member Melissa Bartolomei is helping students discover the joy of reading through a unique bookmobile program supported by Reading Opens the World. Each year, thousands of free books are delivered directly to students, helping build literacy skills and a love of reading.
