Before women were widely welcomed in aviation, the Women Airforce Service Pilots proved that courage has never belonged to one gender. At the same time, the Tuskegee Airmen broke barriers of their own, redefining what was possible in the skies and in service to this country.

This Memorial Day, we honor all those who made the ultimate sacrifice and reflect on the pioneers whose resilience helped open aviation to future generations.

Their legacy still flies with us today ❤️✈️

Our Founder & President, Jessica Webster, had the opportunity to attend Women in Leadership: A Program for Emerging Leaders at Harvard Division of Continuing Education, alongside an incredible group of women.

This three day program included conversations that stretched far beyond leadership theory. They explored communication, negotiation, strategy, and the kind of confidence that grows when ambitious women gather in one room and choose collaboration over competition.

At Hera Aviation Group, we believe leadership is not about fitting into old molds. It’s about building new runways for the people coming after us. Programs like this remind us that there is power in showing up, taking up space, and leading authentically.
