Before and after multiple rounds of bathing and scrubbing to get car oil off this little guy. Critters find themselves in curious places sometimes, which in this case was an auto repair shop, and it’s up to us humans to help out when unfortunate predicaments occur. Thanks so much to for your assistance and diligent work to ensure a successful rehab process.

Two orphaned siblings who were brought to us late last night are doing well! Attempts to reunite were done by the finder but to no avail. The condition of these two when they arrived further indicated that mom was no longer around. Thank you to the finder for their efforts in reuniting and keeping them sufficiently warm until they were able to be brought to us ❤️
Their body weight has a lot of catching up to do, but we’re headed in the right direction!

3.5-week-old orphaned sibling squirrel babies are doing well!

Last week was release day for an eastern cottontail who’s been with us for a few months. Originally found injured and immobile, it’s safe to say this one was ready to explore after healing up successfully throughout the winter. (And got to eat like royalty in the process, as all our animals do!)

Gearing up for the new season and trying to bring in more incubators for our intake babies! These serve as an ideal environment for many of the small-mammals entering rehab as injured and/or orphaned babies. Any contribution helps, thanks so much in advance!

Hi! After becoming an officially licensed non-profit animal rehab organization in NH, we have seen an increase in animal intakes and thus, an increased need of resources and supplies. This coming season, I hope to have another incubator on hand to help the babies in need with an ideal environment fo...

This adult Eastern Cottontail (first intake of 2023) was brought to us immobile and wounded on its back end. Progression in recovery has been quick however, and now just waiting for the wound to be completely healed and for the weather to be consistently warm enough for release.🐰

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted but wanted to be sure we gave a proper tribute to the two raccoon siblings who were found orphaned and in need of rehab until they were old enough to be on their own. This footage was taken during their release back in early September. Together they’ll be off to live their life as nature intended, but at the starting point of healthy and vaccinated adults.

It feels wrong to have held off on commemorating this moment and their journey, so we put together the bits and pieces of this day and wanted to give a sincere thank you to all those who helped along the way. You know who you are and we thank you tremendously. With everyone’s help, these two got a fresh start and a second chance. As with every animal we handle, they were released with food, water (a pond nearby not captured in this video), shelter, and the instincts to have a successful life in their new surroundings.
🖤🦝

Doctor’s visit for vaccinations last night! Upon release it’ll be a peace of mind knowing there’re two less raccoons capable of being affected by distemper and rabies.
