OUR MISSION:
Provide food for hungry children of Horry County who through no fault of their own do not have enough to eat on a daily basis. Our motto is "HUNGER doesn’t take the weekend off, neither does our 100% volunteer staff."

We are setting up for Tonight’s Awesome 80s Summer Solstice Boardwalk Run/Walk

Just a couple of reminders as you head our way!

Backpack Buddies are collecting food items tonight to aid in their effort to combat child hunger in the Grand Strand. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated

Tonight’s Run is on the Boardwalk NOT the Beach. This is due to Beach Refurbishment in the area. The course will start in Plyler Park at the Arch travel straight down the Boardwalk. There are NO TURNS, it’s a straight out and back. Their will be a NS Staff member at the turn around to get you headed back on the Boardwalk to Plyler Park and finishing through the arch

The run/walk is untimed but we will have a clock running at the finish.

Are you still looking for ways to support children in Horry County? There’s a greater need for food assistance for children during the summer break than during the school year. Many children rely on school breakfast and lunch for their daily meals. Without a consistent food source during the summer, we strive to ensure that no child goes hungry when school is out for the summer.
