The Alexis Prue Foundation The Alexis Prue Foundation was founded by Alexis and Andrew Prue in 2023. Why was the foundation started? On the morning of January 8, 2023.

The foundations goal is to help educate as many people on the importance of CPR and get them trained by funding classes. Alexis Prue suffered cardiac arrest while in Jacksonville, FL after attending an NFL game with her husband Andrew. Her heart stopped beating for 3 minutes, but emergency medical staff kept her alive thanks to CPR. While making the trip to Jacksonville, Andrew and Alexis went to

check into their original hotel, but realized it was too far away from the stadium. The couple then relocated to a hotel, ironically 2 minutes away from St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville. After Andrew called 911, EMTs were there within 7 minutes to save Alexis. If they had stayed at the original hotel, nurses tell the family that it would've took 10-15 minutes for EMTs to arrive. Andrew didn't know CPR, and now the family wants to help spread the importance and help save lives.

One year ago today, CPR saved Alexisโ€™s life. She has been an inspiration to this foundation, as well as many around the world. Our goal in 2024 is to host more FREE CPR training sessions. We are working through some things, but once we get classes scheduled we will be sure to make an announcement.

We were able to host 1 class last year, with two separate sessions. Our goal in time, is to be able to go to businesses and groups and train them in CPR, free of charge.

All it takes is one person to save one life to make it all worth it ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพโค๏ธ
