It’s time to level up your 4-H record books! 📘⭐

The Muskogee County OSU Extension Office will be hosting a 4-H Record Book Workshop on Tuesday, June 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office in Muskogee, OK.

This workshop is a great opportunity for 4-H members to:

Learn how to organize and complete their record books.

Get tips for highlighting their 4-H achievements and experiences.

Ask questions and receive hands-on help from Extension staff.

Build confidence before record books are due.

Whether you’re just starting your record book or putting the finishing touches on it, this workshop will help you make progress and stay on track for success.

We have an exciting County Day Camp coming up!

Youth mental health is important for both young people and adults, and we want to help equip our youth with tools and strategies to better understand and manage stress in their daily lives.

The Muskogee County OSU Extension Office invites all youth entering 3rd grade and above to join us for a special program with Mrs. Danyelle from Oklahoma County OSU Extension. She will be sharing practical ways to recognize, reduce, and manage stress while promoting positive mental wellness.

This event will be held at the Martin Luther King Community Center in Muskogee from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m on June 17th.

Join us for a fun and educational opportunity to build your very own First Aid Kit!

The Muskogee County OSU Extension Office will be hosting a Build Your Own First Aid Kit Workshop from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office in Muskogee, Oklahoma on July 14th.

Participants will learn about the importance of first-aid preparedness, discover which items belong in a well-stocked first-aid kit, and assemble a kit to take home. As an added bonus, completed first aid kits may be entered as an exhibit in the County Fair!

Workshop Details:

Location: Muskogee County OSU Extension Office
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Cost: $20 per participant (payable at the door)
To ensure we have enough supplies and materials for everyone, please call the Extension Office to reserve your spot by Friday, July 10 at 4:30 p.m.

Last day of camp 🏕️💚
What an amazing week full of memories, laughter, learning, and fun! Thank you to everyone who helped make camp so special this year. Seeing all the friendships made and smiles throughout the past couple of days reminds us why we love what we do.

Safe travels home, and we hope to see so many more of you back next year! ☀️

Applications are now open for the 2026 4-H Veterinary Science Short Course!

Join us May 26–27 at the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine for a hands-on, two-day experience designed for 4-H members who love animals and want to explore careers in veterinary medicine and animal science.

Participants will learn directly from our experts while diving into topics like animal reproduction, veterinary care and procedures, animal health and management, and real-world experiences with veterinary professionals.

Space is limited to just 30 high school students across Oklahoma, so don’t wait to apply! Applicants will be notified the week of April 20.
