Through our Books Impact Lives program, our vouchers enabled 24 girls and 8 boys to purchase a book at Irving Elementary's Fall Bookfair. Books Impact Lives is a SIA Big Goal Accelerator program. SIA South Central Region

Frost on the Pumpkin is November 13-14 at the First United Methodist Church. We will be there with our New to You booth selling gently used jewelry at bargain prices. Our Holiday Gathering Basket will be displayed--tickets for the drawing are $1. All money raised supports our programs helping women and girls and their families. Plan to come see us November 13-14.

The SIA South Central Region District Meetings were planned for fun. Friday was Pajamas Night and Saturday was Decades Soiree 80's 70's and 60's with Karaoke Night going down memory lane with songs of the decades. We had great speakers and breakout sessions during the two days. We enjoyed seeing our friends from clubs in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Illinois.

We applied for a Lucy Keller Dreams in Action Award for our Dignity for Her program. The delegates voted after the presentations. At the spring conference in 2027, the winners will be announced. Since 2019, we have provided over 10,000 Dignity for Her period products bags to Muskogee women and girls living in poverty. The bags are distributed through a partnership with three community food pantries. SIA South Central Region

President Vicki Rackley posed with SIA South Central Region District II Director and Club Presidents. Dragonfly, an OKC organization helping victims of human trafficking, was selected as our service project for the meeting. https://dragonflyok.org We put together 50 personal bags made up of items donated by each club. Our club donated Walmart Gift Cards.

We have a Holiday Gathering Donation Event--tickets available for this big basket filled with Holiday items. The drawing will be on November 14 at our New to You booth at Frost on the Pumpkin. Money raised through your participation in the event supports our programs helping women and girls and their families. All SI of Muskogee members have tickets--$1 per ticket.

We are headed for OKC for the SCR District Meetings. It is always good to see SI members from other clubs and learn about their projects.

We received a thank you card from the Muskogee Community Food Pantry for the 50 personal hygiene bags for the homeless we donated. Small things can mean something big for others. That is what helping others is about.
