💙 FROM DONATIONS TO DOLLARS. FROM DOLLARS TO CHANGED LIVES. ❤️

Did you know your donated items help provide so much more than affordable shopping?

At Muskegon Rescue Mission Thrift Stores, every donated item has the potential to become something greater. What begins as a bag of clothing, a piece of furniture, or household essentials can become financial support for life-changing services throughout our community.

🛍️ YOU DONATE. WE SELL. OUR MISSION SERVES.

The revenue generated through our thrift stores helps financially support Muskegon Rescue Mission, turning everyday donations into meaningful opportunities for individuals and families in need.

❤️ YOUR DONATIONS HELP MAKE POSSIBLE:

🍽️ Meals & Nutrition — Providing nourishment to those experiencing hunger and hardship.

🏠 Shelter & Housing — Offering safety, stability, and a pathway toward independent living.

🤝 Case Management & Support — Helping individuals overcome barriers, establish goals, and build a foundation for a brighter future.

🧸 Childcare & Summer Camp — Supporting children and families through opportunities for learning, growth, and care.

🩺 Healthcare & Wellness — Helping connect individuals with resources that support physical and emotional well-being.

🌱 Programs & Personal Development — Creating opportunities to learn new skills, gain confidence, find employment, and work toward lasting stability.

And it all begins with generosity. YOUR generosity!

The furniture you no longer need. The clothing you've outgrown. The household items taking up space.

What may no longer have value to you can become invaluable to someone else.

✨ Your donations support our stores. Our stores help fund our Mission. And our Mission provides opportunities for lives to be changed.

📦 DONATE WITH PURPOSE. SHOP WITH PURPOSE. MAKE AN IMPACT.

Because at Muskegon Rescue Mission Thrift Stores, we're not just giving items a second chance. We're helping give PEOPLE a second chance.

📣 COMING NEXT — PART 3: OUR MINISTRY
Discover how your generosity reaches beyond physical needs to support discipleship, spiritual growth, restoration, and lasting transformation through the love of Jesus Christ.

♻️ FROM DONATIONS TO DOLLARS. FROM DOLLARS TO IMPACT. 💙

Ever wonder what happens after you donate to Muskegon Rescue Mission Thrift Stores?

That bag of clothing, piece of furniture, or box of household goods is more than just a donation. It's the beginning of something bigger!

🛍️ YOU DONATE. Your gently used items are given a second chance to make a difference.

🏷️ WE PROCESS. Our dedicated thrift teams sort, evaluate, price, and prepare donated items for our sales floors, creating jobs, supporting operations, and providing affordable essentials for our community.

💵 OUR COMMUNITY SHOPS. Your donated items become affordable treasures, generating revenue that helps sustain our thrift operations and financially support the Muskegon Rescue Mission.

❤️ YOUR DONATION MAKES AN IMPACT. What started as something you no longer needed becomes an opportunity to provide something someone else desperately needs.

But the impact doesn't stop at our stores!

Every donation plays a part in something greater — helping turn everyday items into financial resources that support meals, housing, programs, and life-changing services.

✨ Your donations fuel our operations. Our operations help fund our Mission. And our Mission helps transform lives.

♻️🌎 MORE THAN THRIFTING — WE'RE MAKING AN IMPACT!

Did You Know? At Muskegon Rescue Mission Thrift Stores, our commitment to sustainability goes far beyond our sales floors!

Last year alone, our Recycling Operations processed:

👕 462,000+ LBS of Clothing Recycled!

👟 19,000+ LBS of Shoes Recycled!

That's over 481,000 pounds of clothing and shoes given another opportunity for reuse or recycling! 💚

♻️ WHAT DO WE RECYCLE?

From baled clothing and linens to paired shoes, books, and cardboard, we work to give donated items another purpose. We also scrap metals, appliances, electrical cords, and separately sort valuable metals for recovery.

💚 WHY DOES IT MATTER?

Not every donation makes it to our sales floors. Some items don't meet our quality standards, while others simply don't sell. Rather than allowing these items to go to waste, our recycling operation creates another opportunity for them to serve a purpose!

🌎 Environmental Sustainability: Reducing waste and promoting responsible reuse and material recovery.

🏪 Operational Sustainability: Creating value from unsold donations while making room for fresh, affordable merchandise.

✝️ Mission Sustainability: Helping maximize the value of donated goods to support the life-changing ministry of Muskegon Rescue Mission.

EVERY DONATION HAS POTENTIAL. EVERY POUND HAS PURPOSE. EVERY EFFORT SUPPORTS OUR MISSION.

When you donate to Muskegon Rescue Mission Thrift Stores, you're doing more than clearing out your home. You're supporting responsible stewardship, sustainable operations, and a ministry dedicated to transforming lives!

💚 Donate with Purpose. Shop with Impact. Recycle for a Better Tomorrow.
