šŸ’™ Meet the Recovery Coaches of Samaritan Way šŸ’™

Behind every conversation, every encouragement, and every helping hand is a Recovery Coach dedicated to walking alongside individuals on their recovery journey.

Our coaches use their experience, compassion, and training to help people navigate challenges, connect with resources, set goals, and build the lives they want in recovery. Most importantly, they offer hope by showing that recovery is possible.

šŸ’™ Today’s Memorial Day Grill Out was about so much more than food. šŸ’™

Today we watched a house full of people who were once broken, hopeless, lost in addiction, shame, pain, and loneliness… laugh again. We watched people dancing, smiling, joking around, and genuinely enjoying each other’s company like they had finally found peace, even if just for a moment.

We watched families reconnect with loved ones they once thought they had lost forever. Parents laughing with their kids. Friends encouraging each other. And for those who may not have family anymore, we watched them build a new one within this community.

That’s the part people don’t always understand about recovery. Recovery isn’t just about getting sober — it’s about learning how to live again. Learning how to smile, trust, love, and feel again after years of darkness.

Some people who once felt completely unwanted by the world were surrounded today by community, food, laughter, music, support, and love.

Huge shoutout to Amanda, Jessica, and Vicki for stepping up, serving from the heart, and helping make this event possible. šŸ’™āœØ
