Huge shoutout to all the volunteers this weekend. You make it happen. This wraps up our fishing events for the year. Moving on to hunting season. Lake of Egypt couldn’t have went any better. The weather was great. The food was amazing and the fish bit good. To top it off the company and fellowship made the whole weekend worth it. We had veterans in from Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, and Illinois. Everyone really enjoyed the weekend to kick back and relax. We would like to Thank Bud’s family for coming over and spending the weekend with us. Plenty of Bud stories were told. 🍻🍻🍻🍻 Definitely have to give a special thanks to all the volunteers that made this happen. We can’t do this without you. We’d also like to Thank Pyramid Acres Family for the food and lodging. Paper Lip Baits and 3 Pound Fishing hooked the veterans up with some gear to keep them fishing after they leave this event. Blackout Bait and Tackle kept our minnow buckets full all weekend. Thank you guys for the support. See y’all at Rend Lake next weekend.

Bit of a late post. We had a couple catfish trips few weeks back. And boy the fish were hungry. Caught several fish on both trips. But more importantly memories were made and stories were told. And hopefully a few new friendships. We definitely have to thank “Catfish” Kenny Hall for getting some more veterans out on the water again this summer. Lake Of Egypt is right around the corner. Then Rend Lake is a couple weeks after that. Thank you everyone for your continued support.
