Our Mission- Wright-Way Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized in the Midwest each year through an adoption program, community education, promotion of spaying and neutering, and a veterinary medicine program. We continue to save pets from rural animal control facilities where they are at a high risk of euthanasia, and instead o

ffer them a second chance at a loving homes. We place more dogs in adoptive homes than any other no-kill rescue in the State of Illinois on just 10% of the budget. Wright-Way Rescue offers a variety of programs and services that support our mission. Animal Admissions- Partnering with Wright-Way Rescue guarantees your pet’s life. Wright-Way Rescue was created with the No Kill mission at heart, we are committed to each and every pet in our care. And we are committed to our pets for their entire lives. If anything should happen where their adopters can no longer care for them, we ask that they be returned to us. Because we are committed to every pet in our care, we manage our admissions to ensure that we can provide the quality care that each pet requires. To have your pet considered for the Wright-Way Rescue adoption program, please call us today at (618) 208-1509. The next steps will include meeting with our Intake team and your pet, a brief medical assessment and evaluating behavior. If you have a litter of puppies or kittens, pick up may be available based on staffing availability and your location. low-cost, not-for-profit vet clinic. Owned and operated by Wright-Way Rescue, we strive to help families in the community provide the care their animals need. Not only are services available to the general public, but we also work with animal shelters, animal control facilities and rescue groups to provide medical care to the animals in their programs. Golden girls, golden hearts, and a golden opportunity to make one yours!

Meet Gaby, Luna & Edna! These sweet senior girls each have their own unique personality, but they all share one wish—a loving family to call their own. 🧡

◽ Gaby (10 yrs) is a petite white-and-black beauty with a gentle nature and a loving spirit.

◽ Luna (8 yrs) is a silver-muzzled black Lab mix who is calm, reserved, and wonderfully affectionate.

◽ Edna (9 yrs) is a beautiful strawberry-and-cream gal who is sweet-natured, quiet, and calm. She can be a little timid at first, but with some patience and reassurance, she’ll warm up at her own pace.

These beautiful girls are ready to trade shelter life for the good life—and they’re hoping their new family is just around the corner!

🎉 Southern Illinois, the results are in! 🎉

During the month of August, TimberTrails—Wright-Way Rescue’s Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic—provided $8,856.69 in complimentary veterinary services and products to people and pets throughout Southern Illinois who needed a helping hand.

That is nearly $9,000 invested directly into our community—helping pets stay healthy, remain with the families who love them, and receive care that might otherwise have been out of reach.

We are incredibly proud of our veterinary team, grateful to the partners and donors who make this work possible, and honored to serve the people and pets of Southern Illinois. Together, we are building a healthier, more compassionate community—one pet and one family at a time. ❤️
