If comfort had a face, it would be this pup ☀️

Meet Kishke, a gentle Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix with kind eyes, a loving heart, and so much devotion still left to give.

Kishke was deeply loved by her family. When serious medical challenges made it impossible for them to continue caring for her, they made the incredibly difficult decision to seek help finding her a new home. It was a choice made out of love, with the hope that Kishke could continue receiving the care, comfort, and companionship she deserves.

Despite all the changes in her life, Kishke remains exactly what she's always been: sweet, calm, and happiest when she's close to her people.

She enjoys the simple things. Soft beds. Leisurely walks. Quiet afternoons. Gentle pets. The comfort of having someone nearby.

At 8 years old, Kishke isn't looking for a whirlwind adventure. She's looking for a best friend. A peaceful home. A family who will cherish her golden years and appreciate the steady, loyal love that only a dog like Kishke can give.

🐾 Maggie Update 🐾

Thanks to your support, Maggie continues to receive the intensive care she needs and remains hospitalized under close veterinary supervision.

When Maggie arrived from Mississippi, she was in critical condition. Her devastating leg injury, combined with severe anemia, left her fighting for survival. While she still has a long road ahead, we're happy to report that her pain is now being managed, the severe swelling and inflammation associated with her injury are under control, and her sweet, loving personality is beginning to shine through once again.

Another encouraging sign is that Maggie is now eating and drinking well, something that seemed impossible just a short time ago.

Maggie will require an amputation due to the extensive damage to her leg. Before surgery can be performed safely, our veterinary team has been working hard to stabilize her condition. When Maggie wasn't improving as quickly as expected, additional bloodwork was submitted, revealing that she is also battling Ehrlichia, a serious tick-borne disease.

Now that Maggie is receiving the proper treatment, her bloodwork is beginning to trend in the right direction. We are encouraged by her progress, but she is not out of the woods yet. Additional bloodwork is scheduled for next week, and if her numbers continue to improve, our veterinary team hopes to move forward with surgery shortly thereafter.

Despite everything she has endured, Maggie remains incredibly gentle and loving. We are hopeful that brighter days are ahead for this deserving girl.

☕✨ Some dogs have eyes that make you stop scrolling.

Hot Chocolate is one of them.

With her stunning blue eyes, rich chocolate-colored coat, and gentle soul, she looks like she stepped straight out of a storybook. But behind all that beauty is a sweet girl who's still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place.

Hot Chocolate made the journey from Texas with her puppies, dedicating herself to raising them and keeping them safe. Now that her puppies are growing up, it's finally her turn to be cared for.

She can be a little shy when meeting new people, and shelter life has been overwhelming at times. But give her patience, soft words, and a little kindness, and you'll begin to see the sweet, affectionate girl hiding beneath those cautious first impressions.

Magnolia is still waiting for the place she'll finally call home.

This fluffy Great Pyrenees mix puppy made the journey from Texas and has been sprinkling joy everywhere she goes ever since. With her cloud-soft fur, oversized puppy paws, curious eyes, and playful spirit, Magnolia has a way of making even ordinary moments feel a little brighter.
