As we brought our NWI Forge youth lacrosse season to an end this past Sunday, we couldn’t be prouder of the growth, effort, and toughness shown across all levels of our hybrid program with Berwyn this year in the IYLL. 🥍
Our 10U group battled through our toughest division yet and continued building the foundation of their lacrosse skills. Alex emerged as a dependable two-way player, Jon brought fearless defense against bigger opponents, and Jace quickly made his presence known with physical play, ground balls, and scoring ability. Most importantly, this young team showed major improvement in fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence throughout the season.
Our 12U team took a huge step forward this year and showed some of the biggest growth from the first practice to playoffs. Brady, James, and Sam embraced long stick defense and developed into a strong defensive unit, while Zach and Addy made big impacts offensively and defensively all season long. This group competed hard, played physical, and proved the future is very bright for this age level.
At 14U, our players faced tough competition all season but never stopped competing. Noah and Cooper grew from first-time players into key contributors, Cam continued developing into a steady offensive presence, and Ronan stepped into major long pole minutes and excelled defensively. Even through difficult matchups, this group continued to improve and showed resilience every week.
Thank you to all of our players, parents, and coaches for the time, effort, and support this season. The development across the program was exciting to watch, and we’re already looking forward to what’s ahead. ❤️🥍🖤🥍🧡
