Choice Community Council of Munster The Choice Community Council is an open forum for any Munster resident who is interested in helping to plan crime prevention programs.

The Choice Community Council was founded in 1994 and consists of concerned citizens from all walks of life. Our mission is an important one: 1) To educate the public on the dangers of drugs, gangs, and violence; 2) To promote and maintain a safe environment; 3) To promote TOTAL community cooperation and involvement; 4) To make the public aware of the potential for gangs and associated activities;

and 5) To prevent the formation or escalation of gangs and their activities. Choice Community Council Meetings, which are open to all Munster residents who are interested in participating, are held on the fourth Thursday in January, April, July, and October. Some additional special business meetings may be held throughout the year depending on scheduled events. Residents who would like more information about participating in the Choice Community Council's activities are encouraged to contact the administrator of this page.
