Are you ready for this? The Muncy School District Foundation is proud to offer new Muncy Pride Yard Signs!

These Muncy Pride Yard Signs are double sided and beautiful!

They are a great way to show support for our students, schools, and community while helping the Foundation fund educational opportunities, classroom enrichment projects, student programs, and other initiatives that benefit the Muncy School District.

Currently there are two ways to purchase:

1) IN PERSON - We will be selling the Muncy Pride Yard Signs in person at Indianfest on Saturday, October 10th from 11 AM - 3 PM at the Muncy Junior Senior High School.

2) ONLINE - You can place your order online through the secure payment site below:

https://donorbox.org/muncy-pride-sign-fundraiser

And then, for a limited time, we will deliver your sign for free if you live in the 17756 zip code! You will be contacted after you place your order to set up a convenient time. You can even choose to have us stake your Muncy Pride Yard Sign in your yard!

(Note: At this time, we do not have a way to ship or have you pick up your order at a specific business or location. We may be selling them at some sporting and school events this fall but nothing is scheduled yet. We will post any events that we will be selling the signs in person)

Thank you for supporting the Muncy School District Foundation and helping us grow Tribe Pride throughout the community.

Congrats to Muncy School District Foundation board member David Sterngold!

——

The Muncy Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is proud to announce that David Sterngold of Muncy, Class of 2008, and Noah Sterngold of Lewisburg, Class of 2010, have been elected as the newest two members in the Class of 2026.

The two are slated for induction at halftime of the Canton homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 9.

The pair will be the 84th and 85th members to enter the Hall of Fame since the late Stanley T. Schuyler established it 50 years ago. The committee's president Roger Campbell will be in attendance to present honorary picture plaques to both inductees.

David and Noah Sterngold will have their picture plaques displayed in the lobby of the new gymnasium while also having their sports biographies permanently on display at the Muncy High School Athletic Alumni website.

Prior to the game, a meet-and-greet will be held at 5p.m. in the ne Muncy High School gymnasium lobby where parents, friends, past teammates and coaches of the two newest inductees are invited to attend.

Former Board member Passing

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of former board member Kathy Stauffer.

Kathy was an early member of the Foundation and our liaison for Muncy Bank and Trust, now Journey Bank. She provided us with constant financial advice and was always willing to help and participate in all our meetings and events, even after she had stepped back due to health reasons.

We send our thoughts and prayers to her family and friends and know that out organization and Muncy as a whole are better for having had her with us.

View Kathy Ann Stauffer's obituary, contribute to their memorial, see their funeral service details, and more.
