What happens when you bring people of all ages together to make art? Something pretty amazing! This November, TOOLSONG Gallery at MadJax welcomes Pressing Matters, a colorful community art exhibition led by artist Molly Schaller.

Through a series of workshops, Muncie residents of all ages came together to explore Gelli printing, creating one-of-a-kind prints that celebrate creativity, connection, and the joy of making art together.

And here's the fun part: You can make art, too! During TOOLSONG Gallery Opening: Pressing Matters, visitors can try Gelli printing for themselves and create their own unique prints to take home or add to the exhibition. No experience needed!

Pressing Matters is made possible with support from the Vore Arts Fund, MadJax Maker Force, and participating community members.

What happens when your wife tells you that you'd be really good at making cookies? 🍪

Well, if you're the maker behind Anthony's Cookies, you turn that encouragement into a business!

Anthony's Cookies is one of 10 small businesses participating in MadJax's Maker to Market Accelerator.

From chocolate chip to salted caramel and Biscoff white chocolate chip, there's something special about these cookies. And we mean that literally! A touch of cinnamon is Anthony's secret ingredient, adding a unique flavor to every bite. 😋

But Anthony's vision goes beyond baking delicious cookies.

"I want to continue to grow my brand. I'd love to partner with different local shops. I want to be the first cookie business that comes to businesses' minds when they need cookies catered for any parties or events."

We're excited to be part of Anthony's journey! Be sure to stop by an upcoming market and grab a few sweet treats while you're there!

It is just us, or does today feel like the perfect day for a bowl of soup?

All this soup weather has us thinking back to October's First Thursday, when MadJax was packed with people, creativity, and plenty of delicious soup. We even debuted the Sip Station with Pretty Little Cafe.

More than 600 people came through our doors during ArtsWalk and Soup Crawl. With eight Soup Crawl vendors, live music, art, and activity through the building, it was quite the night. Thanks to Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana and PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union for partnering with us!

Speaking of bringing people together, did you know that you can host your own event at MadJax? From community gatherings and celebrations to meetings and special events, our spaces offer a unique setting to bring your ideas to life. Visit madjax.org to learn more!
