❗FRIDAY❗
🎉 Join us FRIDAY, APRIL 4TH AT 12:30 P.M.
Topic:
The City of Fort Wayne's Community Development Division has a dedicated team of Neighborhood Planners and Activators who serve as vital links between the city and its communities. These professionals engage directly with residents, businesses, and community groups to identify challenges, set goals, and implement strategies for neighborhood development, covering areas such as comprehensive planning, corridor development, transportation planning, and annexations. Fort Wayne has also embraced Embedded Planning, an approach where planners work within community spaces to foster trust and ensure that local voices shape decision-making. This hands-on engagement has led to initiatives like the Packard 2030 Neighborhood Plan, a ten-year vision developed with the Packard Area Planning Alliance to enhance the southwest urban core through strategic investments and community driven improvements.
