Maybe you’re balancing classes with work, kids, caregiving, or a career change.
Maybe you’re finally finishing the degree you once had to put on hold.

There is no single “right” timeline for education.

Applications are still open for the 2026 WIBU Scholarship for Non-Traditional Students, with scholarships ranging from $500–$1,000 to help support students continuing their education.

WARRIOR WOMEN WEDNESDAY: CHEYENNE REED

Who says you can't mix a little magic with money?

This Warrior Women Wednesday, we're celebrating one of our very own WIBU leaders, Cheyenne Reed, our current Vice President!

Cheyenne is the Owner and Head Witch at Abundance Alchemy, a remote bookkeeping and tax firm helping small businesses find the magic in the mundane of money.

Through her business and Money & Magic Podcast, she combines the mystical with the practical, making finances feel a little less intimidating and a whole lot more empowering.

But Cheyenne's magic doesn't stop with numbers.

She's a passionate advocate for inclusion, community involvement, and creating spaces where people feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to succeed.

A 2024 Young ATHENA Award nomination, Cheyenne has demonstrated her commitment to leadership and service through her involvement with Habitat for Humanity's Women Build, her role as an ambassador for The WholeSHEbang Women's Wellness Expo, and her leadership on the WIBU Board.

As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Cheyenne believes in showing up authentically, advocating for others, and helping build a community where everyone has a seat at the table.

And when she's not balancing books, supporting women, or making magic happen, you'll find her diving into historical fiction or fantasy novels, hitting the gym, or traveling somewhere new.

One of Cheyenne's favorite quotes says a lot about the way she approaches life:

"You'll never know more than you don't know, so ask questions."

We love that philosophy because leadership isn't about having every answer. It's about staying curious, continuing to grow, and being willing to learn from the people around you.

Cheyenne, thank you for bringing your creativity, authenticity, advocacy, and leadership to WIBU. We're grateful to have you serving as our Vice President and helping move our mission forward!

WARRIOR WOMEN WEDNESDAY: SUSAN SHEETS

Sometimes a Warrior Woman is someone who achieves incredible things.

And sometimes, she’s the woman quietly standing beside other people, reminding them that they can achieve incredible things, too.

Today we’re honored to recognize Susan Sheets, nominated by Caitlyn Grimme, who describes Susan as one of the kindest, most giving and supportive people she has ever met.

Susan is Caitlyn’s career coach — but Caitlyn says calling her simply a career coach doesn’t begin to capture what she does.

She helps people believe in themselves.

She encourages them to continue their education, discover the path that is right for them, and work toward building a life they are proud of. Whether someone is 16 and beginning to imagine their future or 42 and finding the courage to begin again, Susan meets them where they are and helps them find their way.

What makes that commitment even more powerful is what Susan is carrying in her own life right now.

Caitlyn says watching Susan continue to pour into others through one of the hardest chapters of her own life is a testament to her strength and resilience. Susan continues to show up for others with kindness, generosity, encouragement and support.

Susan was nominated across nearly every Warrior Woman category:
Goal Buster.
Encourager.
Resilient.
Supporter.
Boss-Woman.
All-Around Baddie.

But perhaps Caitlyn said it best:

“Susan spends her life helping other people build better lives for themselves”

That is a Warrior Woman.

Susan, today we hope you feel some of the encouragement you so freely give to everyone else reflected right back at you.
