CHOMP Ministries CHOMP’s purpose is to aid local residents through meeting physical needs that support a healthy lifestyle.

CHOMP (Community Hunger Outreach Mobile Pantry) is about loving others because God has loved us. We provide free mobile meals and groceries to assist residents in need where transportation and funds are not available to maintain a healthy diet. Our goal is not only to feed people but also build lasting relationships and strengthen the community.

TRAFFIC ALERT…North Mulberry Street is closed at the intersection of North Hamtrack. Enter the church parking lot from Sugar Street behind the library or the alley off of Sandusky Street.

Registration begins at 10:30 am. Produce distribution begins at 11:30 and ends at 12:30 pm. The produce market is in the parking lot of Mulberry Church at 205 N. Mulberry Street, Mount Vernon. Look for the signs.

I’d like to give a shout out to Coach Scott Spitler and five boys from the Fredericktown Football team. These five football players made light work of 3500 pounds of produce. They cleared the produce out of the truck quickly! Their kindness and hard working spirit was truly appreciated! Go Freddies!
