CHOMP Ministries CHOMP’s purpose is to aid local residents through meeting physical needs that support a healthy lifestyle.

CHOMP (Community Hunger Outreach Mobile Pantry) is about loving others because God has loved us. We provide free mobile meals and groceries to assist residents in need where transportation and funds are not available to maintain a healthy diet. Our goal is not only to feed people but also build lasting relationships and strengthen the community.

It’s CHOMP Saturday! Produce will be inside today. We’ll have two people checking you in and bringing the produce to you. We’ll do our best to be quick! Please pass this on to someone who could use fruits and veggies. All leftover produce is taken to interchurch. We’d rather hand it out today!! Stay tuned for pics of the produce!

It’s May!! CHOMP is Saturday, May 16.
Registration begins at 10:30 am. Produce distribution begins at 11:30 and ends at 12:30 pm. The produce market is in the parking lot of Mulberry Church at 205 N. Mulberry Street, Mount Vernon. Look for the signs.

CHOMP season has arrived! If you’ve checked the weather, rain is moving in. Last April the weather was the same ☔️. We most likely will ask you to park, someone will come to your car to register and then we’ll bring the produce to you. The whole parking lot will be available, so please park as close as you can to the church.

First CHOMP of 2026 is this Saturday, April 18. Heads up…West Hamtramck Street is closed between North Sandusky and North Main Street.
Our parking area is open and North Mulberry is open as well. See you Saturday!

It’s spring and that means CHOMP kicks off Saturday, April 18. Registration begins at 10:30 and produce is distributed from 11:30-12:30.
If you’re not familiar with CHOMP, it’s a volunteer run pop up produce market. CHOMP sets up in the parking lot of Mulberry Church at 205 N. Mulberry Street

The produce is picked up Saturday morning from The Mid-Ohio Food Collective and unpacked, separated, bagged and handed out from 11:30-12:30. CHOMP is an income based produce market. See the link below for eligibility.

The final CHOMP event of 2025 is upon us. Christmas Fruit Baskets will be distributed this Friday (noon til 4) and Saturday (11-2) at Mulberry Church, 205 N. Mulberry St.

If you signed up for a basket and got a message earlier this week and confirmed you are coming, you are all set!

If you got our message and didn't yet respond, please do so we can confirm you are coming.

If you didn't get our message, please text your name and phone number to 740 358 1732.
