This rescheduled Kids to Parks Day brings a free day of outdoor family fun to the Lakes at Ariel-Foundation Park, featuring youth fishing, archery, games, activities, demonstrations, and more. Presented in partnership with Mount Vernon Parks & Recreation and community organizations throughout Knox County.

The countdown is on!

The Mount Vernon Music & Arts Festival returns with three exciting days of live music, local artists, food, family activities, and downtown fun.

Friday night features favorites Phil Dirt & the Dozers at 6:30pm with Forever Segar - The Silver Bullet Experience at 8:30pm, while Saturday welcomes rising country artist Preston Cooper at 8:30pm, with Six One Five Collective kicking off the evening at 6:30pm. Throughout the weekend, you'll also find Brickfest LEGO art, dozens of artists and makers, delicious food, kids activities, and so much more.

Admission is FREE, with plenty of lawn seating available to enjoy the concerts. Want to get closer to the stage? Preferred Seating and VIP Seating tickets are also available at mvac.org for those looking for an upgraded concert experience.

Have you ever wanted to perform in a classic Broadway musical? Whether you're a seasoned performer or thinking about auditioning for the first time, we'd love to see you!

Join us for auditions for White Christmas at the Knox Memorial Theater:
Saturday, August 1 from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM

We're looking for singers, dancers, and actors ages 16 and up (plus performers auditioning for the role of Susan Waverly). Walk-ins are welcome, but signing up for an audition time is encouraged.
