Do you have a functioning sewing machine in your home that has been collecting dust? We'd love to take it off your hands and give it another life!
With the growth of our education programming and the intention to offer more technical theatre classes from here on out, we are in search of gently used sewing machines to use in upcoming sewing, costuming, and puppet-making classes.
MTVarts is a community theater that relies on you, the community, to bring the arts to life here in Mount Vernon. Your kind donation will positively impact our students and our town for years to come. Thank you!

Bruce, Abi and Mike are hard at work building the iconic soda shop for Grease, and we are already dreaming of jukebox tunes and shared milkshakes.

Grateful for such a special evening with Paul and Jon Tazewell - thank you both for sharing your artistry and heart. Hearing how family shapes and inspires a successful costume designer was touching. It was such an intimate and meaningful experience, especially for our young actors, who were able to see firsthand how passion, storytelling, and personal connection come together.
Thanks to all who made this rare opportunity possible.
