Kokosing Valley Rotary Club chose to give a $1000 scholarship to a Knox County resident in vocational training. Iona Hickerson was awarded this year’s scholarship. She was chosen by staff. She is graduating from MVHS 2026 and has already completed Firefighter I and is starting Firefighter II course training currently. She is also working on her EMT certification.
Congratulation Iona! President elect Mike Pryjida present the check along with club secretary Jane Fricke.
Rotary is truly Service Above Self! Iona represents this quality enthusiastically!
