🚲MEET THE STAFF! 🚲
Who is behind Children of the Valley Bike Club? 👋 We’re excited to introduce you to the staff who help make Bike Club such a fun and meaningful experience for our students!
At Bike Club, we teach students more than just how to ride a bike. We teach bike safety, maintenance, road skills, and how they can use their very own bike as a source of transportation. 🚴‍♀️💨
Our goal is to help students build confidence and learn that a bike can be more than something they ride for fun—it can be a way to get to school, visit friends, explore their community, and get where they need to go. 🌎🚲
Behind every ride, lesson, field trip, and earned bike is a team dedicated to supporting our students and helping them discover what they’re capable of! 💙
The COV Bike Club is supported with funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act. The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health. Information about the CCA is available at www.climate.wa.gov.

✨ And just like that… we’re back! 📚💜

Monday was such an amazing day welcoming our students back at our Mount Vernon sites! 🥰 We missed them and were so excited to see their smiling faces, reconnect, and kick off another wonderful year together. 🌟

We’re so excited for all the learning, growing, memories, and fun that this year will bring! 💫

And we’re just getting started! 🎉 Our Sedro-Woolley site will be starting on September 4th, and Burlington Site September 8th we can’t wait to welcome even more of our COV families back! 💜

Here’s to another amazing year of inspiring kids to dream BIG! ✨

The Back To School Blessing Day event is tomorrow!! Saturday, August 15th from 9-12pm at the New Life At The Well. It is not at the Skagit Valley College where we have done it previously. Dream Big Summer — Day 4!
Day 4 took us on an adventure to Fort Casey! Our students had the opportunity to explore this historic site, and for many of them, it was their first time visiting! To make our adventure even more exciting, students completed a scavenger hunt as they explored and learned about the history of Fort Casey.
After all that exploring, we took some time to slow down, enjoy the beautiful ocean views, and spend time together.
Another day of learning, exploring, and making memories together!

¡El Día 4 nos llevó de aventura a Fort Casey! Nuestros estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de explorar este sitio histórico y, para muchos de ellos, ¡fue su primera vez visitándolo! Para hacer nuestra aventura aún más emocionante, los estudiantes completaron una búsqueda del tesoro mientras exploraban y aprendían sobre la historia de Fort Casey.

Dream Big Summer — Days 2 & 3!

Our Dream Big Summer adventure continued with two amazing days at Fire Mountain Day Camp with our friends from Scouts! Our students had a blast trying out so many exciting activities, including rock climbing, BB guns, archery, crafting, and so much more! It was an action-packed two days filled with adventure, new experiences, teamwork, and lots of fun!

A huge THANK YOU to our friends at Scouts for welcoming COV and giving our students such an incredible camp experience!

¡Nuestra aventura de Dream Big Summer continuó con dos días increíbles en Fire Mountain Day Camp junto a nuestros amigos de Scouts! ¡Nuestros estudiantes se divirtieron muchísimo participando en tantas actividades emocionantes, incluyendo escalada en roca, tiro con pistolas de aire comprimido, tiro con arco, manualidades y mucho más! ¡Fueron dos días llenos de aventura, nuevas experiencias, trabajo en equipo y muchísima diversión!

¡Un enorme GRACIAS a nuestros amigos de Scouts por recibir a COV y brindarles a nuestros estudiantes una experiencia de campamento tan increíble!
