Looking for an easy way to put your FAITH IN ACTION???

Fill out a volunteer packet (and provide a copy of your ID) to help us on Sunday afternoons from 2PM-6PM. This will make a BIG impact with our ministry!

You will mostly be seated behind our front desk. When it comes to dinner, many meal providers will come onsite and serve dinner. But in the event that they provide the meal beforehand, you would serve dinner. But no worries, our guests LOVE dinner! It's a great time!

Excited to Serve!

As our guests work toward Life Change, they are given opportunities to shadow staff and volunteers to help them build job skills. Today, one of our guests earned this opportunity. When presented with it, he became teary-eyed and said with a deep sense of gratitude, "Thank you! You made my day!"

What this meant to our guest was almost beyond words for him. He was being trusted again and REWARDED for the hard work he has been putting in. Instead of continually being the one receiving service, he was excited and grateful to finally be given the opportunity to give back and serve others.

SEE LIFEBOAT’S TREASURE COVE ROOM FOR KIDS!!!

What was that? Yes! We have a small room reserved just for toys, games and fun stuff to gift to kids when they first call Lifeboat home!

AND… it’s time to open it up again! We just had TWO MORE CHILDREN enter Lifeboat last night. This morning, the young boy took a cool truck and the young girl grabbed a big stuffed animal. They are playing away and having a blast in our family area, no cares in the world!

This is EXACTLY how the experience should be for children whose families become homeless. It’s scary and difficult for the whole family to face the idea of becoming homeless (as we all can imagine). But because of all of YOU in our community, the experience for children is positive, which allows adults to focus on healing and taking steps of progress toward a transformed life for the whole family!

RESCUE KITS DELIVERED!!!

Once we received a call from our neighbors who live here, we jumped into action! Even then, we had to have extra help to FIND this camp!

They were both very kind and grateful for receiving help. They are not from this area, but are just passing through. We explained how the kits have bug repellent wipes (biodegradable) and really need to be used quickly because of how bad the ticks are right now. We also made sure to let them know to CALL if anything else was needed!

Please keep our homeless neighbors in prayer. We ask for full life transformation for them through Jesus!!!

WHAT GREAT GIFTS FOR GIVE WEEK!!!

We are deeply grateful for receiving these gifts from our friends at Logan Street! These will be used to bless our guests by creating a clean, dignified environment where they can heal, work toward life transformation and hear the Good News!

Thank you for taking the time to hear about all the critical work we’re doing together, as well as putting your faith into action at Lifeboat!

THANK YOU, Logan Street Baptist Church for preparing and serving DELICIOUS food for our guests to end Give Week!

The BEST part was seeing the whole Logan Street team sitting and talking with our guests during dinner, building relationships and letting them know that they are valued and cared for.

FRIENDLY Meal Outreach!!!

We visited some homeless friends at this encampment. Meals #6, 7 and 8 on the night delivered!

While they are NOT ready to make steps toward life change (yet), we are building the friendships and relationships that will allow us to be there to help once they make the decision. They know who to call!!!
