Each year, The Equity creates a calendar for their customers, and this year, they are hosting a contest to feature photos from local
4-H members. They are excited to see submissions as they start putting together the 2027 calendar.

Entries can be submitted online until Friday, June 19
by scanning the QR code, or via link - https://qrco.de/eqphoto

Winning 4-H members will receive prize, and their club will receive $50.

Calling all 4-H alumni, parents, and supporters! It’s time to step back into the show ring for the 4-H Alumni/Parent Costume Showmanship Contest!

Join us on July 20 at 7:00 PM at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds for a fun-filled evening of costumes, creativity, and friendly competition. Participants will showcase their animals while incorporating a costume or themed presentation — whether it’s the showman, the animal, or both dressed up!

🏆 Awards Include:
✨ Showmanship Award – Best handling, confidence, and ring presence
🎉 Crowd Favorite Award – Audience-voted favorite for creativity and entertainment

What a great time the 4‑H Waltonville Bulldogs had at their last meeting!
Along with their regular club meeting activities, members had the chance to get creative and paint fun rocks—showing off their artistic skills and teamwork!
It’s always exciting to see our 4‑H’ers learning, creating, and having fun together.
Great job, Bulldogs!

🧹 We Need You! Jefferson County Fairgrounds Clean-Up 🧹
Calling all 4‑H members, parents, and volunteers—it’s time to roll up your sleeves and help get the fairgrounds ready! This counts toward the 4-H day-of-service project.
📅 Date: June 27
⏰ Time: 7:00 AM
We will be working alongside Franklin County 4‑H to clean up all areas of the fairgrounds. The more hands we have, the faster (and more fun!) the job will be! 💪
📢 More detailed job assignments will be shared in the June Fair Update.
